We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join our team.

The ideal person will have a minimum of 3 years experience in drafting with the ability to work independently and take directives from an Architect.

The person will be working under the direct supervision of the Principal Architect or Team Leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To include the following and any other duties that may be assigned.

  • Production of Detailed design and construction documents as directed by the project leader.

  • Preparation of drawings within prescribed budgets and timelines.

  • Plotting of Drawings.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 - 5 years experience in drafting.

  • Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

  • Proficient in AutoCad and the ability to sketch by hand.

  • 3-D modeling abilities is a plus.

  • Technical proficiency with new construction is a plus.
